Revenue Department circular: selling your share of a jointly held 7/12 plot will need the land records ‘C’ copy of your measured share or the co-owners’ written consent
Sub-registrars will now register the sale of a share in land with several names on one 7/12 extract only if the deed carries either the land records department’s measurement ‘C’ copy or the other co-owners’ written consent. The circular is not yet public and reports differ.
