Gondia: The Gondia district NCP held a review meeting on its organisation, the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and its booth-level agents (BLAs) at the party office in Railtoli on October 10, Berar Times reported. MP Rajendra Jain, MLA Rajkumar Badole and district president Premkumar Rahangdale were among those present.

Building the organisation requires clearly setting policies and direction and planning accordingly, Jain said. He told booth-level agents to take information about the SIR to the last party worker and asked every worker to take an active part in electoral-roll work. Office-bearers who do not take part in organisational work will be assessed, and he will visit every taluka in the district to review the work, he said.

MLA Rajkumar Badole also urged booth agents to pass on SIR information to all workers and spoke about organisational responsibilities ahead. Taluka presidents and heads of booth agents from across the district attended.
