Nashik: Fairs will be held this Navratri as usual at the Kalikadevi temple near Mumbai Naka and the Renukadevi temple in Bhagur. To prevent traffic jams caused by the crowds, police have announced route changes that will remain in force until October 20.

Some roads around the Kalikadevi temple will be closed all day, and in Bhagur restrictions will apply from 2 pm to midnight. The road from Gadkari signal to Hotel Ruchi is closed in both directions to all vehicles, and only two-wheelers are allowed between Chandak Circle and Hotel Sandeep.

Traffic from Mumbai Naka Circle will be diverted via Hotel Ruchi, SSK Hotel and Chandak Circle. Motorists heading to Nashik Road and Indiranagar should use Mico Circle, R.D. Circle and the Indiranagar tunnel, police said.

Separate parking has been arranged for devotees' vehicles, with two-wheeler parking at places including the ground near the highway bus stand, N.D. Patel Road, Gurudwara Road and land next to the Golf Club ground.
